Plot summary

Anne Lockwood has come to Cannes with Michael, her husband and a prominent movie producer, for the festival there. When the festival ends, she learns that the vacation the couple planned in Paris must wait on a trip to Budapest first. They intend to fly to Paris, but the pilot advises Anne against flying because of an ear infection. Jacques, Michael's producing partner, offers to drive her to Paris himself.
