Out of Nature (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

In a small Norwegian town, Martin works in an office and comes home to his wife and son, and in neither place does he feel at home. He is a family father in his thirties, and he longs to be somewhere else. He takes a weekend hiking trip on his own, up into the mountains, away from the job and the family. What we hear on that trip is the inside of his head: his thoughts about his feelings and his fantasies, uncensored, existential and silly by turns. Alone in the wilderness, he is made to confront the way he lives as a husband, a father and a son.
