Plot summary

Rakel is a young woman who is hungry for life and who spends her time illustrating her own everyday life, and her imagination runs wild. A one-night stand leaves her expecting a child, and the pregnancy sits unnoticed in her stomach until she is already six months along. She knows she does not want it and is in no way ready to be a mother, but abortion is no longer an option at that point, so adoption is the answer she settles on. That is when Ninjababy turns up, an animated figure out of her own drawings who accompanies her through growing up and makes her life difficult.
