Plot summary
Nolan wants to learn the basics of hunting, so he travels with his fiancée Sophie to a cabin deep in the wilderness, where her old friend Kyle, a hunter, will show him how to handle guns and bows. Kyle and Sophie once had a brief romantic encounter, and pointed remarks about the history they share build tension among the three of them. Kyle still has feelings for Sophie, and he turns hostile when he hears about the engagement, while his teaching carries menace. The forest around the cabin holds a pack of wolves, and the weekend of hunting becomes a fight to survive.
