Plot summary
A group of people will pay to have a lonely man befriended, and through Chachan the task reaches his son Kichu, who wants to leave the country with Kalyani, his girlfriend. The man is David, a gangster whose memory of a shootout in Udupi is gone, and with it the whereabouts of confidential information about gold worth crores that has vanished. Kichu takes the money and tracks David down, finding him selling popcorn inside a movie theater. He makes clumsy attempts to approach him and at last wins his friendship, calling him Anna. The group then wants David's memory stirred, so Kichu talks him into a drive to Udupi, saying he has a car consignment to deliver, and David agrees reluctantly. The two set off from Mumbai.
