Plot summary
Seven-year-old Bela Martin is settling into a new school while her parents drift apart. Her mother, Ursula, is busy with her corporate career, and her father, Russ, is usually at home looking after her. Then an entity that looks just like Ursula starts visiting Bela. Bela names it Other Mommy. Every visit brings the same request: that she be allowed in. The visits become scarier and move past her bedroom, and the entity changes shape and warps the space around her.
