Open Your Eyes (1997) on Netflix

Plot summary

Twenty-five-year-old César has money, expensive cars and a long line of women in Madrid. At his birthday party, he turns his attention to Sofía, who came with his best friend Pelayo, and he takes her home; she stays the night but they do not sleep together. The next morning his former lover Nuria, who will not let him go, pulls up outside and offers him a ride. She crashes the car on the way to her house, and César survives with a face wrecked beyond what surgeons can repair. He wears a mask to hide it, and Sofía keeps her distance. In a prison cell in Madrid, César recounts the events to psychiatrist Antonio while a prosthetic mask covers his face.
