Plot summary
Desmond works at Ammotech, a company that makes weapons, and he is known for arriving late. His boss, Adam Nusbaum, calls him in to discuss a pending merger and tells him his performance has to improve; some colleagues have already been let go. After a seminar with his friend Samantha, Desmond sees pallets of drinks being unloaded in a corridor. Back in Adam's office, he finds Adam has killed a coworker, and the department chases him. The new energy drink, Zolt, makes those who have had it aggressive. When Desmond tries to call for help, the switchboard says company policy requires clearance from a supervisor.
