Plot summary
Jonah shares a house with his friends Stevie and Gus, and the three host parties together. At one party the electricity fails after Jonah leaves the electric bill unpaid, and a neighbor gets it turned back on. Upstairs, Becky finds a lump. A doctor tells Jonah he has testicular cancer and that the operation can remove it but leave him unable to father children. The doctor suggests a sperm bank in case he wants children later. At the sperm bank Jonah produces a sample in private, but the nurse explains that his sperm cannot be stored by freezing because of a biological complication. Worried he will never have children, Jonah asks what other choices remain, and the nurse asks whether he has a girlfriend.
