Trailer

Plot summary

David Rousseau writes bestselling crime novels and is looking for a new story when he travels to the village of Mouthe for the reading of a will. There he hears about Candice Lecoeur, a young weathergirl and cheese model who was a local celebrity, and who died in what is described as a suicide. Rousseau refuses to believe she took her own life, and the details of Candice's death and her life keep resembling those of Marilyn Monroe, whom she looked like. He teams up with Bruno Leloup, a gendarme in the village, to try to show that Candice was murdered.
