Plot summary
Alexandre Beck works as a pediatrician, still carrying the loss of his wife Margot, who was murdered eight years earlier by a lake. A serial killer confessed to seven murders but always denied Margot's, though the mutilations on her body left little doubt about his guilt. Two bodies are now uncovered near the place where Margot's was found, and the case is reopened. At the same time an email reaches Alexandre with a link to a surveillance camera and a time to watch it; the footage appears to show Margot alive. Detectives who examine the new evidence begin to implicate him, and apart from his work only his friendship with Hélène Perkins keeps him from total isolation.
