Plot summary
A friend asks Jack Friar, a police detective, to do him a favor and track down a runaway teenager, and the search takes him to Turk Street, where he walks in on a group of criminals preparing a bank robbery. The gang holds Jack hostage and debates what to do with him. Erin, the girlfriend of the man in charge and a woman who knows how to work the men around her, is left alone to watch him. She finds his captivity irresistible and shows Jack another side of herself. He cannot tell whether she is sincere or manipulating him as well.
