Plot summary
Aravind Karunakaran serves in the police under his brother Ajith, a DYSP, and the two are among the officers who charge Murali, an innocent man, in the murder of a middle-aged couple and build false evidence against him. When the team decides to let the matter rest, Aravind leaves the force rather than be part of it. Years later he comes home for his niece's wedding with his girlfriend Dia, and there he finds leads in the old case. He goes back to the police and investigates in his own time, while Ajith and the others want the file left closed.
