Plot summary
For years the Covington forest has been a final destination for troubled young people, and rumor holds that those who died there have never been found. Five teens, Robin, Ben, Chris, Amelia and Nia, go into those woods the day after Robin's classmate Ethan took his own life there. Robin had lied to Ethan to avoid going to prom with him. The group plays a game called nightlight, an evening of flashlights and ghost stories. Strange noises reach them among the trees, and when they try to leave, unseen forces hold them back. The friends are separated and lost in the dark.
