Plot summary

On her first overnight shift at the All Tucked Inn, a remote motel, Gwen Taylor meets the owner, Teddy Miles, who shows her around and says the night can feel long and lonely. Lights flicker, doors open on their own, and faint noises come from empty hallways. Alice Marsh, a teenage guest who ran away from her mother, says she has seen people in the halls who vanish when approached. Unsettling phone calls carry static and whispers, and a shadowy man in a car seems to follow Gwen, resembling a figure from her past. Teddy avoids her questions about the motel's history. Alice grows frightened and insists the motel is haunted.
