Plot summary
Dani has his parents' beach house near Barcelona to himself while they travel, so he invites Nico, his friend since grammar school, to spend the summer. Nico wants to meet girls and lose his virginity; Dani would rather have Nico's time and attention all to himself. Their plans to fish and hunt fall away once Nico sets his sights on Elena and her cousin Berta, whom he wants to take to the beach and cook dinner for. In the meantime the boys experiment with each other. Nearby are Sonia, Dani's tutor, and Julián, a writer and an old friend of Dani's father.
