Plot summary
Daniel, a celebrated German-Spanish screen actor, lives in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district. He has a stylish loft, a stylish wife and children looked after by a nanny. London is his next trip, for an audition for a part in an American superhero movie. On the way he steps into the bar on the corner, where Bruno is sitting. Bruno has spent his life overlooked: one of those who lost out when Germany reunified, and one of those pushed aside as the old East Berlin changed around him. He has waited a long time for this moment, with Daniel as his target.
