Plot summary
Kevin James and Jasmine Washington meet as teenagers, and each of them is devoted to a dream: his is football and hers is music. The pair fall in love, and each of them carries the same passion for what the other wants to do as for their own ambition. A tragedy and a single awful lapse in judgment break the two of them apart. Years afterward, their paths cross again, and Kevin and Jasmine have to find a way to trust each other. Neither of them knows whether the love they found as teenagers is strong enough to save them both now.
