Natsume's Book of Friends: Ephemeral Bond (2018) on Netflix

Plot summary

Takashi Natsume lives with the Fujiwara family and spends his days moving between people and yokai, returning the names his grandmother Reiko recorded in her Book of Friends. A reunion with an old classmate, Yuki, brings back memories of a yokai he once knew. In a town where Reiko once stayed, Natsume becomes acquainted with Yorie Tsumura, a woman who knew Reiko well and now lives quietly with her grown son, Mukuo. Time with the family is comforting, though something unseen has been lurking in the town. On his way back from looking into it, a yokai seed stuck to Nyanko Sensei falls into the Fujiwaras' garden and grows into a fruit tree in a single night.
