Plot summary

A lawyer's visit about the family's bungalow in the Uttarakhand hills sends Vicky Malhotra up to clear the place before a sale. Vicky lives with his mother and is dating Riya. Behind a photograph in the bungalow he finds a hidden cache holding a replica of a map and notes made by his father, the archaeologist Kapil Malhotra. Years before, Kapil died rather than surrender that map to a rival archaeologist, Baali. Vicky decides to work out the mystery himself and travels to Kurukshetra, a place the map names again and again. Baali's men find him and take him away. Vicky's mother goes to her husband's first wife, whose son Veer Malhotra is a forest officer in Uttarakhand and Vicky's half brother, and asks that Veer find Vicky and bring him home.
