An American journalist dies in Iraq while reporting the ISC's activities to the CIA. The group's leader, Abu Usman, takes a bullet in the arm at a rally in Ikrit and is brought to the city hospital, where Indian and Pakistani nurses train. Usman sends fighters to guard him; the CIA prepares an airstrike, and the nurse Maria telephones the Indian Ambassador to Iraq to report that she and the other nurses are being held. The CIA gives RAW chief Shenoy seven days to get them out. Shenoy finds Tiger and Zoya, married and raising a son, Junior, in hiding in Innsbruck. Tiger hesitates, then agrees at Zoya's urging and takes a small team into Syria.
