Plot summary
Riley enters her senior year at a high school where her father, Chris, has just been hired to teach English, and she has a hard time finding friends. In his first lesson Chris catches the attention of Tricia, a popular girl, and of Kyla, the school's yearbook photographer. After class Kyla befriends Riley, learns that Chris is her father, and asks to come to the house to study. There Riley tells her about her mother's infidelity and her parents' divorce. That night Kyla dreams about Chris and grows infatuated with him.
