Musclecar (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

Bambi Steele has a million-dollar investment lined up for her debut feature and spends her savings on its main prop, a 1968 Dodge Phoenix. The money falls through, and she gathers her cast to tell them the film is off. With no fuel and the car at risk of being lost, she listens when cast member Lochy describes running drag bikes on alcohol. At the pub, a patron who has been pursuing Bambi is thrown out by leading man Randy and killed by a passing car. Bambi stays behind and has her brother Buck help her drain the dead man's blood into the Dodge; Buck leaves disgusted. A book, Voodoo Mechanics, promises the car a life of its own through human blood, an ox heart and eight souls, so she calls on Randy for help.
