Plot summary
Karen, a model in Manhattan, confides in her socialite friend Tracy about Christopher, the photographer she is engaged to. Tracy goes to her bank and takes cash and jewelry from a safe deposit box, then leaves the envelope under the seat of her parked car. Karen glimpses Christopher nearby and trails him to the studio where he is shooting a sexploitation picture with a prankster called Otto for a producer, Wiley. Christopher confesses that he is not a widower; he needs money to divorce his wife. Karen wants to raise it for him. She goes back to Tracy's car, finds the envelope, takes the cash, and returns to the building to hand it over. Otto, playing a joke, mimes stabbing her with a prop ice-pick and splashes her with ketchup.
