Plot summary

After a nightmare, Eric comes to in the Norwegian wilderness and finds the trees around his tent burned to cinders. His leg is badly burned, so he breaks into a clinic for bandages. On the road, teenagers taunt him, and one of them, Ole, collapses and dies when he grabs Eric by the collar. Police pick Eric up and call in Christine, a young psychologist. She learns he is an American-Norwegian and a suspect in a fire three years earlier that killed five people, and asks for his handcuffs to be taken off. When he grows agitated, her hair crackles with static and water rises from her glass while electrical fires break out in the building. Christine concludes his emotions drive the power and begins teaching him to focus.
