Moondance (2020) on Netflix

Plot summary

The film being made is a love story about a reclusive composer of orchestral music and a wayward dancer who spend most of the movie working past the obstacles that keep them apart. Behind the camera, a director is reworking a routine Hollywood romance into a big band musical, his crew in on the plan and his actors kept out of the loop. Many of the obstacles come from the director himself, who narrates the tale and serves as a mentor to the two of them. The project is at once a traditional Hollywood musical romance and a guerrilla documentary tracking a rogue filmmaker.
