Plot summary
A robotics company hopes to win a lucrative military contract, and it works with a corrupt CIA officer. The company airdrops four weaponized prototype robots into the Golden Triangle without permission, aiming to test them on drug traffickers. The machines are sent to a camp where drugs are thought to be made, and the company believes the people there are traffickers nobody would miss. Six doctors serving on a humanitarian mission watch the robots kill an entire village. The machines then turn on the doctors to hide what happened. The crew that deployed the robots had been told there would be no killing, and it breaks apart.

- Mark Toia partly financed the film with an Indiegogo campaign but paid for most of the A$1.6 million budget himself, using money he had made from property investment.
- Toia, who was 56, said the idea came to him while he was recording a Nescafe commercial in Vietnam, and he floated the script for a year in the United States before making the film himself.
- Toia helped develop most of the motion capture work for the robots himself, and said that had he not been so proficient in CGI the film would likely have cost $2 or $3 million more.
