Plot summary
Mob boss Sosa celebrates the release of his adopted son Jimmy Boy from prison with a night of partying for his crew. Among the guests are Nick, a loan shark, and Quick Draw Mike, a criminal who has stopped killing and intends to leave the organization. Mike is sleeping with Alice, Nick's wife. He agrees to help Nick with a job, and the man he is told to chloroform is Nick himself. The Nick who gave him the instructions has come back through time; the other Nick slips away. Mike is blamed for betraying Jimmy, and Sosa hires the Barron, a cannibalistic assassin, to go after him. Future Nick tells him a time machine is behind it.
