Plot summary
Sean Dillon, a man of the IRA, is taken by British soldiers and forced to cooperate with them. They send him undercover with a gang of terrorists, and his task is to prevent that gang from killing the U.S. President. Brigadier Charles Ferguson, for his part, has word of a sinister plot in which members of the British royal family are to be shot. The hit man named in that plot is John Engel, an old adversary of Dillon's. Whether the IRA, old Russian leaders or Middle East fundamentalists are behind the plan is not known.
