Plot summary
For her 50th birthday, Mindy has planned a long weekend at a lake. She is divorced, she teaches school, and she is in the middle of a mid-life crisis. The guest list includes Sam, a former boyfriend, Marc, the ex-husband she divorced, and her daughter Rita, who brings her girlfriend Emily. As the weekend approaches, Mindy is still working out what she wants in the chapter ahead of her.
