Plot summary
Mitch Davis is unhappy with his life and travels to Mexico with a friend. After the friend leaves without paying a prostitute, Mitch is beaten and robbed. Jesse buys him a meal and offers him work with The Captain, who leads young recruits against the cartels. Mitch declines, then accepts when The Captain offers five thousand dollars. At the compound he meets Camarillo, Alyssa, Paul, Benito, and others. He impresses The Captain by digging out of a wooden box, but he questions the group's purpose.
