Plot summary
A prestigious literary award is to be presented in Scotland, and the famous author who is to receive it is not making the trip. Jen Oakley works for that author and hopes to make her own living as a writer, so she is the one sent to collect the award on the author's behalf. In the Highlands she meets James McDuff, a Scottish poet who takes her for somebody else. She has to decide whether telling him the truth is worth the risk of losing him.
