McEnroe (2022) on Netflix

Plot summary

John McEnroe held the top ranking in men's tennis for four consecutive years, and his rivalry with Bjorn Borg helped shape the sport's golden era. He was known for his temper on court. The documentary draws on unseen footage from major matches at the US Open and Wimbledon, plus home video he provided, and on recollections from his children and his wife. Over the course of one New York night, McEnroe walks back through his own memory to explain the need for connection that drove him, and to weigh the controversy that followed him on and off the court.
