Plot summary
In Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in the winter of 1988, television weatherman Russ Richards is a local celebrity with a reserved parking spot and an omelet named after him at Denny's. His snowmobile dealership, though, is close to bankruptcy because the weather has stayed warm, and he owes money to Dale, a thug with a bat. Russ's friend Gig, who owns a strip club, first suggests an insurance scam, then proposes fixing the Pennsylvania Lottery drawing. Crystal Latroy, who announces the winning lottery numbers on the station, is in on it, and so is her cousin Walter, who is to pretend the winning ticket is his.
