Plot summary
Arun is an unemployed designer who drinks heavily, and the investments he made in a business are in loss. He and Divya have been together for six years. Divya practices surfing at Kovalam and spends time with friends at a send-off party for their team lead, where she tells them about her love story. Arun calls to ask where she is, and she says she is at a family function. He learns she lied, arrives at the party, and creates a ruckus. Divya calls off the relationship. Arun goes back to a home in emotional disarray, where his father carries on an open extramarital affair and his aging mother works.
