Plot summary
Uthaman Pradeep works as a support engineer for Cognizant in Chennai. He is 24 and lives with Saraswathi, his widowed mother, and with Divya, his older sister. Nikitha, his girlfriend, is a software engineer at Infosys. They want to wed, but Pradeep fears Nikitha's father, Venu, a strict and eccentric lawyer. After Venu learns of the romance, he calls Pradeep over, supposedly to talk about wedding plans, and sets a psychological challenge. For one day, the pair have to trade their phones, and neither may keep any part of their digital life private. Venu says he will bless the union if, after seeing what is on each other's phones, they still wish to marry. Pradeep agrees reluctantly, confident that he has already deleted his WhatsApp messages. He also helps prepare Divya's wedding to Yogi, a mild-mannered dentist.
