Plot summary
Jenny Taylor, eighteen, is a devoted fan of the rock star Jason Masters, and her attempts to get near him keep being blocked by her rival, Alexis. Jenny takes a summer job at the Caribbean resort Jason favors, and her best friend Ryan comes along. She slips aboard a party boat Jason is on; when he is thrown overboard, she jumps in after him, and the two come ashore in a secluded cove. Jenny realizes the cove sits a short distance from the resort, and she lets Jason believe they are marooned, hoping the time alone will make him fall for her. Ryan drives out with supplies to help her keep up the story.
