Plot summary
This documentary looks at the actor Anton Yelchin. Journals, other writings, photography and the music he composed sit alongside interviews with family, friends and colleagues. It follows his pursuit of artistic work in several forms and the close bond he has with his parents. The film also records his cystic fibrosis, a condition his parents told him about at seventeen and which he kept from friends, co-workers and the public. The project takes shape after one of his co-stars suggests the idea to his parents. A narrator reads passages from his writings, and footage of Yelchin is included.

- Jon Voight, Yelchin's co-star in the 2015 short Court of Conscience, first suggested the documentary to Yelchin's parents. They approached Drake Doremus, who had directed Yelchin in Like Crazy, but he felt too close to Yelchin to direct and suggested Garret Price instead.
