Plot summary
At a New Year's Eve party, Teddy sprints to kiss his girlfriend Becka at midnight but lands on Leanne instead, and when a peanut puts him in anaphylactic shock she helps him, and the two become a couple. Years on, at his father's grave, the pair are overheard by a woman who hands Teddy a tin can and tells him to keep it shut until their tenth anniversary. The morning after the wedding, a year has gone by and Leanne is eighteen weeks pregnant; minutes later Teddy is at their second anniversary with a baby daughter. Time is moving on for everyone except him, so he arranges for Sam to meet him in a year with an anniversary present, and the friends try to work out how to break the cycle.
