Plot summary
In August 2003, Juan Catalán is arrested in Los Angeles County, California, for the murder of Martha Puebla. Puebla had been a witness at a hearing for Mario Catalan, Juan's brother, a few days before, and Juan had attended that hearing. Officers arrest him because he fits the facial composite that a witness described, and he insists he did not commit the murder. His case for innocence comes to rest on raw footage held by the television show Curb Your Enthusiasm, which bears on where he was around the time of the killing, and on a phone call traced to Dodger Stadium before the murder.
