Plot summary
The sorority sisters throw a slumber party at their house, and among them is a new member, Leslie Borden, a descendant of Lizzie Borden, the woman remembered for the axe killings of her parents. As a joke, the girls hold a séance meant to summon Lizzie's ghost, expecting nothing to come of it. The spirit answers, and the house locks around the sisters, sealing them all inside with a vengeful presence and an axe. With Leslie's family name at the center of it, the group searches for a way to put an end to the return that none of them believed in.
