Plot summary
An exposé revealed that people believed to be vampires had been living on blood collected at donation centers. Samuel, a sectional leader among vampires, wants the public to hear that his kind is not murderous and to make coexistence with humans possible. Samuel arranges with Aaron Stafford, the station manager at KMNBR TV, for his brother-in-law Benny to join documentarian Mike and Mike's girlfriend Carrie on an interview with a vampire family. At the house the three meet Andrew Pritchard, his wife Elleanor Grey, and Blake and Selvin, the two the couple call their sons. Andrew tells them the basement is off limits, that rituals cannot be filmed, and that the family must not be disturbed while they sleep during daytime.

- Living Among Us was filmed in 2013 but released in 2018, seven months after the death of John Heard, who played the vampire Andrew, making it the actor's last feature film release.
