Plot summary
In Chicago, Calvin Sims leaves prison and joins his brother Percy for a job ordered by the mobster Mr. Walken: the theft of a valuable diamond. The robbery succeeds, but the police give chase, and Calvin slips the stone into a woman's purse. He and Percy follow her home, where she lives with her husband Darryl Edwards, a man eager to have a child. The brothers decide Calvin will dress as a baby and be left on the doorstep so he can hunt for the diamond inside. Child Services is closed for the weekend, so the couple takes the foundling in, while Vanessa's father Pops and their friends find the new arrival strange. Mr. Walken grows impatient for the stone.

Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Littleman (2006)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The premise came from a 1954 Bugs Bunny cartoon, Baby Buggy Bunny, in which Bugs takes in a foundling who is really a wanted dwarf bank robber.
- Every Calvin scene was shot twice. Nine-year-old dwarf actor Linden Porco, 75 cm tall, played it with the other actors, then Marlon Wayans performed it alone against greenscreen; in post-production Marlon's face replaced Porco's head, and Porco's body was painted brown to match.
- The head-swap effect was cited in a courtroom: at R. Kelly's 2008 sexual abuse trial his defense lawyer asked a witness about the film, arguing that Marlon Wayans's head on another body had looked real, and the defense went on to question the veracity of footage repeatedly.
- The Golden Raspberries punished the borrowing directly: of seven nominations the film won three, one of them Worst Remake or Rip-off, the category citing the 1954 Bugs Bunny cartoon Baby Buggy Bunny its plot came from.
- Scenes with Calvin were played twice: once by nine-year-old dwarf actor Linden Porco, 75 cm tall, with the other actors, and once by Marlon Wayans alone against green. In post production Porco's head was replaced by Marlon's, and Porco's body was painted brown to match Marlon's face.
- The film was raised at R. Kelly's 2008 sexual abuse trial, when Kelly's defense lawyer asked a witness who said she had recognized a face and hair in a video whether she had seen Little Man, where they put Marlon's head on another actor and it looked real.
