Plot summary
Sarah Pierce lives in suburban Boston with her husband Richard and their daughter Lucy. Their marriage frays when she finds his internet pornography habit. Brad Adamson, a law school graduate who has failed the bar exam twice and keeps putting off a third try, brings his son Aaron to the same park. Sarah and Brad, both unhappy at home, become friendly and, dared to shock the gossipy mothers, kiss. They agree not to act on their attraction. Meanwhile, paroled sex offender Ronnie J. McGorvey moves into the neighborhood with his mother May, and Larry Hedges, a former police officer, makes it his mission to drive him out.
