Plot summary
Laura Haley comes to a beach town to get away from a life that has fallen apart, and Spencer Hodkins arrives in the same town to work on his thesis. She is a dog person and he is a cat person, and the two of them have almost nothing else in common. When a mistake with a reservation leaves them and their pets sharing one vacation rental house, they all have to work out how to get along.
