Plot summary
News of the kidnapping of Chief Minister Yogeeswaran at a private retirement home in Chennai spreads quickly, and the case draws attention from the local level up to the central cabinet. Santhanapandian questions Bala, a minister's son found unconscious at the scene, who describes his friendship with Kumaran, formed after Kumaran helped him escape a group of attackers, and the fact that both men loved Priyadharshini.
