Behind the Scenes
Plot summary
Arjun Kumar, an officer from Madurai, is known for a particular habit: he cripples every convict he handles so the crime is not repeated, a code he took from his mother Lakshmi. Chennai's commissioner, Vijayakumar, hands him the file on Satan's Slaves, an outlaw motorcycle gang behind drug deals, snatch thefts and killings across the city, led by Naren, who goes by Wolfranga. Arjun supports the whole household: Lakshmi, his older brother Kothandam, who drinks, Kothandam's wife, a married younger sister, and his youngest brother Ashok, known as Kutty, a graduate without work. Kutty's unemployment earns him contempt from his sisters-in-law, which troubles Arjun and Lakshmi. Sophia, a colleague and friend, works the case with him.
