Plot summary
Arjun and his two friends get by on small cons, tricking people out of a few thousand rupees at a time. Arjun meets Michelle, who is under financial strain, and he agrees to Deva's plan to attempt a bigger job. The job is a robbery at one of the city's largest jewelry shops, with a promised payout of 200 million rupees. The shop's owner is a ruthless man, and he already knows what the three are planning. Two shady characters also take an interest in the friends and push them toward the heist. What follows turns into a cat-and-mouse game with the heist at its center.

- Early reports suggested Manasi Rachh, who had appeared in Karan Johar's Hindi film Student of the Year (2012), would play the female lead of Rajathandhiram, but it was Regina Cassandra who was revealed to be part of the project.
- Sandeep Chowta replaced G. V. Prakash Kumar as the film's composer, although a song by Prakash Kumar was still used in the film as a promotional track.
