King Kong vs. Godzilla (1963) on Netflix

Plot summary

Mr. Tako produces a television show with poor ratings and decides it needs something more exciting. He sends Osamu Sakurai and Kinsaburo Furue to Pharoh Island, where he wants them to collect soma berries and bring back evidence of a giant ape. On the island the two men find the ape, and after it fights a giant octopus it drinks juice made from the berries and falls asleep. They tie it to a raft and set out for Japan. Elsewhere, a submarine strikes an iceberg, freeing Godzilla, who had been sealed inside it seven years before. Godzilla is already rampaging through the Japanese countryside while Kong is on the water, bound for the same country.
