Plot summary
After his son is kidnapped, a millionaire industrialist seeks revenge, in spite of the potential danger that his rash actions will bring about for his child and another kidnapped boy, the son of a poor mechanic.

- Producer Galliano Juso came up with the story after real kidnappings, which director Fernando Di Leo called "a hot topic back then"; Juso would pitch the story to Italian distributors, and the film would only get made if more of them were interested than not.
- Ernesto Gastaldi said he wrote Kidnap Syndicate's script himself despite being credited alongside Cesare Manzani, and that Fernando Di Leo did not write it, only suggesting adjustments after it was finished. Gastaldi called it "a nasty film about nasty times".
